Coming Soon – Winter Solstice Coffee!
This year I want to give our non-flavored coffee drinkers a holiday brew, so last Saturday I came into work to get started on a recipe for my new blend – Winter Solstice.
I knew what taste I was looking for, but at first I wasn’t sure how to achieve the right flavor profiles. After a few rounds of brain storming, it came to me – roast our Rainforest Alliance Certified LaMinita Rio Negro Costa Rican for the rich body and silky, smooth chocolate notes. Then lightly roast an Alto San Carlos Peruvian coffee for the bright, nutty taste and fruity finish. The perfect blend for a little holiday joy!
The next day, I brewed this coffee at home and I must say – this hits the mark! Winter Solstice is a great choice for your first cup of coffee in the morning or after indulging in a big holiday meal.
